The Millbrook Inn is one of those rare finds that you stumble over, quite by accident and then find it almost impossible to leave. The Millbrook for many people has become an annual pilgramage spanning more than 50 years, and still counting ! Why does this tiny pub continue to attract so much attention ?...in truth we are not entirely sure....Oh it has its charms....its Aylesbury ducks splashing around in the brook behind the pub, the pontoon down the lane where "on the tide" you can join the flotilla of boats that religously "Swallow and Amazon" their way up the South Pool Creek,to its low beams, open fires, local real ales and ciders and a genuine locally sourced menu served by equally local and friendly staff. Pubs like this are getting increasingly more difficult to find let alone stumble over.
