The great successes of last summer, Start Bay Lobsters grilled in Garlic butter, South Devon rib-eye steaks from Wilkinsons in Modbury and Beefburgers made from a rare breed 'British White' herd just down the road at East Allington have become a fixture and are definitely here to stay. So many customers complimented our approach to cooking on grills outside, last summer. We all feel it so refreshing to be able to provide high quality local sourced products cooked to order outside on grills. Mackerel and Sardines will also continue to feature as will slow roast lamb chargrilled with pitta bread and Greek Yoghurt and Merquez sausages.
Our experiment with a traditional Valencian Paella, cooking it from scratch outside has proven to be a big hit This year we are planning to take the paella pan approach one step further and produce an Indonesian curry on some tides, along the lines of Nasi Goreng, Beef and chicken Sate,spiced vegetables and fillets of fish.
We have also been recently cooking Moules Marinierre outside which is proving to be a big hit and have added Fillets of Bream as well as Squid and chorizo with saute potatoes
